Xilisoft iPod Mate contains iPod Rip (iPod management software), DVD to iPod Converter 5 and iPod Video Converter. All of Xilisoft iPod Mate's programs are easy to use and follow a standard, simple interface that anyone should be able to use without problems.
Xilisoft iPod Mate's iPod Rip allows you to transfer music and movies between your iPod and PC and copy contents to and from your iPod to iTunes. Xilisoft iPod Mate's DVD to iPod Converter and iPod Video Converter, as the names suggest, are both concerned with converting DVD movies and videos to any format compatible with your iPod namely MP4 (MPEG-4), MP3, AAC and M4A.
When Xilisoft iPod Mate installs, it creates three desktop shortcuts for each application on your desktop. It's a little annoying having to access three different programs within one application under the umbrella of Xilisoft iPod Mate and it would be better if they could have all been combined in one but between them, they should cover your iPod needs. I also found that Xilisoft iPod Mate's installation was extremely slow to the point where I thought the installer had crashed and wasn't working at all.
